International Dehydrated Foods, Inc. (IDF®) recently announced it will attend Ingredient Marketplace 2016, a consumer research-based conference that attracts some of the largest ingredient suppliers in the food industry. The three-day event will take place from April 27 to 29 at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida.
At booth H43 in the Orlando World Center Marriott expo hall, IDF® representatives will display the company’s SIP®, which stands for “Savory Instant Protein” and is a bone broth powder, as well as CHiKPRO™ Chicken Protein Isolate Powder. IDF® will give away samples of its SIP® and CHiKPRO™ products, as well as a fortified gravy, which can be used in recipe development. “One aspect of Ingredient Marketplace we love is that we get to share our newest, most trendy products,” said IDF® Marketing Communications Manager Erin Danastasio. She continued, “Ingredient Marketplace embraces the exploration of upcoming food trends, so we enjoy contributing to that conversation, especially with our recent development of bone broths.”
IDF® will also sponsor a sports nutrition panel discussion in the Orlando World Center Marriott’s Canary Ballroom 2 from 12 to 1 p.m. on April 28 and promote its new concentrated protein powder, CHiKPRO™. The panel discussion will be led by two industry experts, Dr. Chris Lockwood and Dr. Doug Kalman, who will offer insight about science-backed food and supplement trends for the sports industry. “IDF® is right in step with the protein trends, and both IDF® SIP® Bone Broth and CHiKPRO™ are protein-based ingredients that complement each other,” commented IDF® Vice President of Technology, Sales and Marketing Stephanie Lynch. She continued, “SIP® is rich in collagen for maintaining joint health, and CHiKPRO™ is rich in branched chain and essential amino acids for maintaining muscle health. Both products have been well received by the supplement and functional food marketplace.”
